There are a lot of types of traps. Some are activated when you're close, some when you hit them, and some are always on. Some give you a Status effect and some do nothing but irritate you.

Poison Trap

Description
This trap emits a burst of poison hitting you with 6.67% of your max HP per hit. They are always visible and can vary from area to area and may be activated in two different activation methods. The first method is when you come close to the trap. The second is that it is already activated from the start. All of the traps can be destroyed with three hits of any kind.

Types

  • The normal trap looks like a flat flower in a tub and can cast poison on you.
  • The other trap looks like a sphere tangled in roots of tree and is also able to cast poison on you.

Stun Trap

Description

This trap makes you stop movement and holding you on one spot like stun. They may not be destroyed until triggered by stepping on to them (even when you walk past them, they sometimes trigger). These traps are most likely invisible and can only be spotted with goggles or by a protranser. To make them visible for everyone, you need to lock them with your goggles by looking near the middle. If someone is stuck in one of these traps, you can destroy the trap with three hits of any type. But if you're too late and the trap explodes on its own, it has a chance to do some of the following: Confuse, Silence, or Shock and/or 10% damage or nothing.

Types

  • The 3 armed trap only lies in forest missions and are always visible.
  • The 6 armed trap are the most common, and are used everywhere else.
  • There are special 6 armed traps that move from left to right pushing you in flare traps. But in one story mission they will pull you in a teleporter where you get teleported back.
  • In the ruins blocks, these traps hang on the roof. Falling onto you trapping you in a cage.

Explosive Trap

Description

This trap looks like a Server select cube. They trigger when you come close to them. But it is possible to destroy the traps by a single hit of any type. Most of this kind of traps are invisible and can only be spotted with goggles or by a protranser. To make them visible for everyone you need to lock them with your goggles by looking at the green circle.

Types

  • The normal trap can inflict a specific status effect and always does damage.
  • Some traps look the same but have a different kind of effect. In Security Breach, the traps get used in different ways from sounding an alarm, to killing you in a instant. These traps can't be destroyed and need to be overridden with a special switch.

Laser Trap

Description

This trap is a red line over the floor. This can have different purposes from removing your equipped weapon when walked over (The Magashi Plan). Or sounding an alarm (Security Breach). Some have to be spotted by goggles and some are always visible.

Turret Trap

Description

This trap shoots bullets at you and always stays on a fixed spot. There are various designs ranging from round floating turrets, turrets with 3 legs, among others. The types have a fixed type of bullets. Most of the turrets can be destroyed with 3 hits of any type. However there are some that can't get destroyed like the ones in The Egg Thieves these can then be shut down with a button somewhere in the block.

Types

  • The turrets that cant turn around always shoots a penetrating shot like a laser beam or barta.
  • The turrets that can turn around always shoots a simple bullet or foie in a 8 shot pattern. In some missions like the The Dark God they shoot Megid lv2 but these have a very low chance of incapacitating you.
  • There are also turrets that has its own skin like the moon shotguns in the temples or the Rafoie shooting sand hills.

Hammer Trap

Description

This trap is a huge hammer that drops down from above doing a large amount of damage.

Types

  • The instant kill hammer can only be found at The Magashi Plan and does 100% damage.
  • The normal hammer does between 10% - 50% damage per hit and can be found at various free missions.

Flare Trap

Description

These traps are like a flare. They keep on shooting ice or poison doing fast damage. However these traps can't be destroyed by anything. So the only way to turn them off is to hit a switch or stand on a button.

Types

  • The freeze flare is a blue flame that keeps firing. If it is a fixed one then you will not be able to get past them without deactivating them. But when they move they will just freeze you.
  • The poison flare can only be found in the habirado forbidden district. They don't do a lot of damage but they can cause confused.
